Welcome!

My name is Gaetano Scaduto, I am 27 years old, I come from Agrigento, Sicily (see background!), and I currently live in Antwerp (Belgium).

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology of the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Tilburg University. I consider my research interests broad and interdisciplinary, ranging from political sociology to social psychology and communications. In the past, I’ve worked on several topics, such as political stereotypes, politicians’ communication online, privacy protection behavior online, and political talk show pundits in Italy.

Previous to my appointment in Tilburg, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioral Sciences (ESSB) with the Erasmus Institute on Culture and Stratification, at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. I gained a PhD from the University of Milan Bicocca and I have been a Visiting Student with M2P research group at the department of Political Science at the University of Antwerp for 18 months.
